OK — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — type in stake and odds and it shows the return with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at lucky 15 calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that really shifted things for me were the geekier bits. They’ve got an probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its design is a bit basic — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

On reflection this is the kind of writing that improves my taste for what is possible in the format, and a look at trivoxcore continued raising that bar, content that elevates my expectations rather than lowering them is doing important work in calibrating my standards and this site is participating in that elevation reliably.
