So — have been messing about with this thing for something like four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. I’m UK based, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you drop in stake and odds and you get the return with no faffing, either odds format. There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. One thing that really changed how I bet is the more serious extras. There’s an probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. The layout is pretty plain — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it works although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but worth saying.
Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
Decided I would read the archives over the weekend, and a stop at zz-meta confirmed that the archives would be worth the time, very few sites have archives I would actively read through but this one has earned that level of interest based on the consistent quality across what I have sampled so far.
