A quiet kind of confidence runs through the writing, and a look at fibdot carried that same understated assurance, confidence without bragging is the most attractive register for online writing and the writers here have clearly developed it through practice rather than affecting it through stylistic tricks that would feel hollow eventually.
Will be sharing this with a couple of people who care about the topic, and a stop at brightframeshub added more material worth passing along, the kind of site that is generous with quality content and does not make you jump through hoops to access it which is appreciated more than the team probably realises.
Now adding this to a short list of sites I would defend in a conversation about the modern web, and a look at trumpetsixth reinforced that defence list, the few sites that serve as evidence the web can still produce good things are precious and this one has clearly joined that small list of exemplary sites.
Now feeling slightly more optimistic about the state of independent writing online, and a stop at barniguana extended that quiet optimism, sites like this one are the reason I have not given up on the open web entirely and finding them occasionally renews the case for paying attention to non algorithmic content sources today.
Honest reaction is that I want to send this to a friend who would benefit from it, and a look at canoebeech added more material I will pass along too, the impulse to share is the strongest signal I have for content quality and this site is generating that impulse cleanly across multiple posts.
