A quiet kind of confidence runs through the writing, and a look at republicw4 carried that same understated assurance, confidence without bragging is the most attractive register for online writing and the writers here have clearly developed it through practice rather than affecting it through stylistic tricks that would feel hollow eventually.
Now appreciating that the post did not try to imitate any other style I might recognise, and a stop at moeinclub continued that distinct voice, content with its own register rather than borrowed from elsewhere is content with real authorial presence and this site has clearly developed that presence through what feels like patient editorial work.
