Glad I stumbled across this post, the explanations actually make sense without needing background knowledge to follow along, and after a stop at nohonabe the same was true there, no assumptions about the reader just clear writing that anyone can understand from the first line right through to the end.

So — been using this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out returns with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. What actually made a difference is the geekier tools. The probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its design looks a bit basic — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
