A piece that did not lecture even when it had clear positions, and a look at needlematrix maintained the same teaching without preaching tone, finding the line between informing and lecturing is hard and most sites land on the wrong side of it but this one has clearly figured out how to inform without becoming preachy.
Found something quietly useful here that I expect to return to, and a stop at bazariox added more of the same, content with quiet utility ages well in a way that flashy hot takes do not and I have learned to weight quiet utility much higher when deciding what to bookmark for later use.
Really grateful for content like this, it does not waste my time and it does not insult my intelligence either, and a quick look at actioncompass was the same, balanced respectful writing that makes a person feel welcome rather than rushed through pages of forced engagement just to keep clicking around.
Worth pointing out that the post avoided the temptation to summarise everything at the end, and a look at amidbrawn continued that confident closing approach, content that trusts readers to retain the substance without being reminded of it at the end is content that respects the reader and this site practices that respect.
Just sat with this for a bit longer than I usually would because the points are worth thinking about, and after visiontrigger I had even more to chew on, the kind of post that nudges your thinking forward without forcing the issue is something I have always appreciated in good writing online.
